David Hopkins

Property has always been a part of David’s professional life. A builder by trade, he began by making them. Following that, he sold them for 20 years during a hugely successful career in Real Estate.

Now he takes pride in looking after them for his clients. David is passionate about Property Management, and believes the service and systems they have created at Rent Right is an embodiment of how he’d like to be treated if he was hiring a property manager.

With an emphasis on honesty, communication and relationship building, Rent Right benefits immensely from his people skills, his integrity, and his pragmatic approach to problem solving.

With wife of 38 years, Lorena, he shares three delightful daughters, is a keen golfer, and an even keener Harley Davidson enthusiast!

Lorena Hopkins

Raised in beautiful Picton, Lorena gained an understanding of finance and administration working in the banking industry, before a foray into the hospitality sector saw her and husband David cast as Restaurateurs.

Working behind the scenes at Rent Right, looking after administration and the day to day running of the business, Lorena’s free time revolves around her family, spending time with friends, and a number of sporting interests, including hockey, running, cycling, and the gym.

Having been involved in the property sector for 25 years she has, like all the Rent Right team, an in-depth understanding of the local market.

Jeremie King

Jeremie is a born and bred Cantabrian who is passionate about the region and its people.
He takes great pride in genuinely understanding people, their needs and what it takes to ensure positive outcomes.

With a varied professional background that includes over five years in Property management, hospitality management, facilities management, and education Jeremie appreciates the importance of quality service and how to deliver this.

Jeremie places a strong emphasis on ensuring the needs of both landlords and tenants are consistently met through excellent communication and high standards.

With a growing, young family Jeremie is kept busy in his spare time but enjoys supporting his beloved Crusaders and All Blacks, tramping, the gym, swimming at the beach and gardening.

Tereza Stasek

Tereza has been part of the property management team for two years after being in the hospitality industry for just over a decade, where she gained strong customer service skills, and prides herself in her ability to maintain professional long term relationships.

As you can see from Tereza’s last name, she is not from around here. Tereza is originally from the Czech Republic. She left her country when she was 19 years old and came to New Zealand for a six-month holiday. Just like everyone else, she fell in love with New Zealand and stayed. Now, with a Kiwi passport, she calls NZ “home”.

In her spare time, Tereza and her husband love going fishing and camping. Trying to make the most of beautiful NZ nature.

Tereza loves to chat about European and Czech history and especially their delicious cheap beer!

Nicky Banfield

A true Cantabrian, I have always worked in very customer focused roles.

Starting out as a hairdresser and then over the last 20+ years, working in the sales and wholesale management area.

I fully understand how important communication and great customer service is when dealing with people and forging long lasting relationships.

In my free time I enjoy spending it with family and friends.  I enjoy watching most sports and with two Chief supporter son-in-laws there can certainly be some great banter had through the rugby season.

Karen Junge

Karen has been a valued member of the Rent Right team for 10 years and is a vital cog in our administration team. When you enter our offices you’ll always be greeted by her big smile and bubbly personality.

Karen has a background in Viticulture/Winemaking and horticulture but enjoys the flexibility of working hours at Rent Right as her two daughters are very successful in their sporting endeavours.

With superior organisational skills and a professional attitude Karen has been fundamental in the communication and coordinating of the healthy homes compliance facet of the business as well as the day to day administration tasks.

In her spare time Karen enjoys running, mountain biking ,boating and the occasional wine.
